Hatem Elsafty, CISA, CIA, PMP, ACP is the head of Consulting & Outsourcing Services Mazars Qatar and GCC, leading a team of more than 50 consultants, with more than 23 years’ international experience in Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, IT Assurance, and Program Assurance, starting in professional services (E&Y and PwC) followed by more than 8 years in Oil and Gas industry working for BP, London, UK, and Qatar gas in Doha, Qatar.

Hatem is the president of Institute of Risk Management Chapter in Qatar and also the founder of Doha Chief Audit Executive Forum, leading the community of internal audit and risk management professionals running regular seminars, workshops, risk awareness across different industries. He obtained Masters in Business & IT from Middlesex University, UK. Hatem also is regular speaker at different seminars and conferences, as well as an instructor at Qatar University and is leading risk management research.

Hatem is an enthused active sportsman, he was the captain of the Egyptian National diving team (2000-2003) and currently the president of TriClub Doha (the largest triathlon club in Qatar with more than 500 active members), he is the elected-president for the second consecutive term, setting club’s direction, strategy, and leading it to sustain its exponential growth.
