Audit Manager in the Assurance

We are currently looking for Assistant Audit Managers/ Audit Managers to enhance our Assurance team in Qatar.

Job role

  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above.
  • Be involved in the financial management of clients.
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients.
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen.
  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Train, coach, and supervise staff.
  • Ability to provide advice and resolve internal and client issues.
  • Thorough knowledge with regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to focus on client needs and respond to them.
  • Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff.
  • Motivated and a team Leader.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ recent work experience as an auditor at an International Auditing Firm (Big Four) whilst demonstrating a progression in complexity of auditing and accounting tasks.
  • Internationally recognized professional accounting qualifications – ACCA, CPA, CA, ACA or other relevant certifications.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic. French is a plus.
  • Required nationalities: Jordanian, Lebanese, Tunisian.
  • Extensive knowledge of IFRS standards, ISA standards, audit practices, procedures and reporting standards.
  • Proven experience on technical accounting and general business issues.
  • Industry knowledge and audit best practices to develop an audit strategy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel).
